We started with the questions you hear every day at the counter: is my car ready? what did we quote them? who ordered the parts? how much are we owed? Every feature in Phorlan exists because someone in the shop needed it on a Tuesday at eleven in the morning.
We built it for independent shops, with one or several locations, that are often starting their first system. That is why it is learned in an afternoon, works on a phone and does not charge per user.
Today Phorlan runs every day in a real shop, and we keep building it from what happens there. If it does not work on the shop floor, it does not go in.
